Five members of McChesney’s finance committee were joined as defendants, MoChesney claiming Ihat they verbally agreed to defray liis election costs. Under the equity and good conscience clause the magistrate gavo judgment for the plaintiffs, holding Unit the claim should be settled by defendants jointly and severally.
