ANNUAL MEETING AT MATAMATA. . ..' v - At the annual meeting of parishioners there were about 30 present, the Rev. 'J. W. Burley presiding. The reports and balance-sheets show that the organisations of the church were being carried on in a satisfactory manner. The balancesheet showed a balance of £8 3s 4d, while the assets are above the liablli- ■ tles to the amount of £1977 16s Id. Officers elected for the ensuing year were; —Vicar’s Warden, Mr T. 11. Prowse; Parishioners’ Warden, Mr J. Granswiok; Treasurer, Mr A. E. Wrigley; secretary to he elected by the Vestrv; Vestry, Messrs J. W. Simpson, J. Leadbury, H. C. Chilton, E. T Stanley, J. Prowse, G. G. Bell, W. Blennerhassett, A, E. Wrigley, A. Callaghan, A. G. Caitcheon; country members: Y. Beeby (Hinuera), A. Chap (Wahora), C. G. Payze (Peria), T. Bluclc (Taihoa), A. M. A. Wright (To Poi), R. Harding (Tur-anga-o-pioana); auditor, Mr G. G. Bell.
