APPLICATIONS DEALT WITH. SUPREME & MAGISTRATE’S COURT (Times Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Figures supplied this evening by the Minister of Justice, Mr J. G. Cobbe, show the extent to which mortgagors’ relief acts have been availed of. Applications dealt with by the adjustment commissions up to January 2i last total 2523 and the number of applications awaiting consideration by the commission number 913. Applications tiled number 59DS, of which 2G2. t were in Supreme Courts and 3377 in .Magistrate’s Courts. Applications dealt with by Supreme Courts total iO2G and by Magistrate’s Courts t G2B.

A total of *2G5i applications which have been withdrawn or otherwise not proceeded with are not included in Ihe above figures.
