KIRK-WINDEYER CUP. NEW ZEALAND TEAM SELECTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The New Zealand Golf Council has selected the team to represent the Dominion in the Kirlc-Windeyer Cup contest, which is to be played at Sydney this season. The players selected are Rana Wagg, Ilutt (Wellington), H. A. Black, Miramar (Wellington), H. D. Brinsden, Titirangi (Auckland), J. P. Hornabrook, Masterton, and B. M. Silk, Wanganui. T. H. Horton (Masterton), Dr. Is.. Ross (Dunedin) and A. D. S. Duncan (Wellington) were not available. New Zealand is Hie holder of the cup, and will defend it at Sydney in June. New South Wales and Victoria are certain to enter strong teams. rocky downs club.
In an unofficial medal round on Saturday the best cards returned were those of N. Johnston, 102—3066; W. L. Barkman, 93 —25—70; H. Keeley, 86—it —74. A bogey match at the week-end was won by N. Wallace, 2 down, with J. ■Corbett, 3 down, as runner-up. The ladles’ 18-hole medal round vs as won by Miss E. Johnston with a score of 82 nett, followed by Miss K. McGeahan with 83 nett.
