BOWLING.
DOMINION DELEGATES. AUCKLAND, Tuesday. The nominations of Messrs G. L. Gladding and J. Pascoe as representatives on- the Dominion Council were made at a meeting of delegates to the Auckland Bowling Conlre last evening. Mr J. Pascoe presided. A discussion look place on representation by the New Zealand Association on the International Bowling Board at the annual meeting to be held in Scotland in June. It was deckled that the centre request the Dominion Council to take immediate steps to provido for suitable representation. Professor M. Walker referred to the question of having the finals in the New Zealand championship tournament played on the best green possible, and of undue watering of greens prior to the finals of the events. It was decided to forward a recommendation to the Dominion Council to the effect that the last eight skips left in the finals should have a voice in the selection of the green, and, on the matter of watering the greens, the tournament authorities should consult with the club representatives responsible for the upkeep of Hie green.
