' The Standard, applauding ihe derision to '.send the Marylebono team to New Zealand, says:— “ The charge of neglecting cricketoverseas cannot he brought against 1 lie M.C.C., which is naturally anxious to help the New Zealanders, who acquitted themselves so splendidly last year. It. is no disparagement to their cricket to say that perhaps they enjoyed their greatest successes off ihe field.”
