ALL SAINTS, MATAMATA,

THE ANNUAL MEETING. At the annual meeting of parishioners of All Saints’ Church, Matamata. the Bov. J. W. Burley presided over an attendance of 40. The balance-sheet showed a small credit on the year’s working. The Rev. Burley, in his report on the completion of his first year as vicar of the parish, said it had been a happy year. A gladdening feature was I tie increased number of communicants, showing an increase of 45 per cent, in the Parish Church and 33 per cent, in the country districts.

The following officers were elected: Vicar’s warden, Mr T. 11. Prowse; people’s warden, Mr J. Granswiek; secretary and treasurer, Mr A. E. Wrigley; auditor, Mr G. G. Beil; Diocesan synodsmen, Messrs G. G. Bell and T. 11. Prowse; representatives on Archdeaconry Board, Messrs G. E. Chapman, G. G. Bell and T. H. Prowse; vestrymen, Messrs J. W. Simpson, W. Blennerhassett, \V. Callaghan, G. G. Bell, C. T. Carter. F. W. Bowler, W. C. Caitcheon, H. Chilton, C. G. Payne and E. T. Stanley; country representatives, Messrs T. R. Bluck, J. Beebe and C. E. Chapman.
