VOLIMOND.
STRIKES FORM AGAIN. Volimond was responsible for two good efforts at Rotorua where she ran second to Ti Tree in the Mokoia Handicap on Saturday and won the Farewell Handicap on Monday. The Limond—Tivoli mare was unlucky at her first start In being carried wide at the home turn to the straight. The Te Awamutu trainer, J. Paul, turned Volimond out in excellent condition. His charge Is now at a period of the racing season when she can be expected to go on Improving and a good stake Is not too much to expect from her in the near future.
