PREPARATIONS WELL IN HAND. WORKING BEE ORGANISEDA considerable amount of work is entailed in arranging the annual summer show of the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association. Sheep pens, stock enclosures, hurdles, and various show rings have to be erected, and a hundred and one details require attention.

The Claudelands Showgrounds presented a busy appearance this morning when a working bee, organised by the committee, commenced operations, in connection with this year’s show, which will be held next week. Some thirty helpers comprised the party, and the committees soon., had their jobs under way. Sheep pens and show rings were formed, the children’s hurdles erected, and other jumps arranged. Luncheon was served in the dining-room on the ground, arid activities were resumed this afternoon.

Practically everything is ready for the show, and most of the arrangements are completed.
