MOTORING ACCIDENTS.

CAR AND CYCLE COLLIDE. SEVERAL PEOPLE INJURED. AUCKLAND, Monday. As Mr Charles Barnard and three friends were motoring back to /Auckland from a bowling match a collision occurred with a motor-cycle. The car somersaulted, left the road and crashed into a telegraph pole. The vehicle was extensively damaged. The motor-cyclist, Mr Frederick Lynd, single, aged 29, received a fracture of the left ankle. Another young man, who was pillion riding with him, received cuts on the left knee.

Mr Barnard suffered a severe cut on one wrist. Mr Gordon McKenzie, aged 63, received head injuries and a fracture of the right wrist; Mr William Stalley, aged 50, injuries to his head and shoulder; and Mr Alfred Veryard, married, aged 57, head injuries.
