He will be, succeeded by Mr F. C. Wood, who has been manager in New Zealand, and has been stationed at Wellington.

Professor P. G. Hornell, the Swedish engineer who visited New Zealand at the invitation of the Government to report on the Arapuni hydro-electric scheme, and who has inspected several other schemes also, was a passenger on the Ulimaroa which left Wellington yesterday for Sydney. Mr P. N. Werner, engineer assistant to Professor Hornell, also left by the Ulimaroa.
