RETURNS FOR OCTOBER. The rainfall for the year to date, 33.28 inches, is well below the average. During October 4.56 inches of rain fell on 16 days, the maximum fall of one inch being recorded on the M 4 th. In October last year rain fell on 12 days, the total recording being. 2.9 inches.
