MISSIONARY MEETING.

ST. PAUL’S LADIES’ AUXILIARY. A good attendance of members attended the monthly meeting of the auxiliary on Thursday afternoon, October 23. The president, Mrs W. B. Williams being -out of town, the meeting was presided over by Mrs Bradley. ; Letters were read from Mrs J. E. Purchase, Dominion Treasurer, and Mrs Bimet, a missionary in the Solomon Islands. Both letters proved of an interesting nature. Mrs W. Earle, who recently attended the 16th conference at Napier, gave a most interesting report of the proceedings, for which the meeting conveyed its thanks. An enjoyable afternoon was brought to a conclusion with afternoon tea.
