APPOINTMENTS AND PROMOTIONS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. Among the appointments and promotions in the New Zealand military forces gazetted to-night are the following in the New Zealand Air Force: David Malyon Allan, to be Flying Officer. The appointments of the undermentioned Flight-Lieutenants (on probation) are confirmed: W. O. Phillips, W. Mackenzie. The undermentioned Pilot Officers are to be Flying Officers: F. MitfordBurgess, G. Cotton-Stapleton, W. E. Norton, I. E. Rawnsley, G. Carter, W. G. Coull, 11. I. N. Melville, R. G. MacDonald, J. It. Richardson, R. J. M. Webber, D. Winfield, W. W. With ell, D. G. Gregorie, N. F. Harston, I. A. McGregor, E. B. Reynolds, E. D. Williams, W. B. Gillespie, A. D. Poulton, N. L. Vale, W. 0. G. Mackie,, A. V. Gladstone, K. A. McKenzie, J. H. M. Smith. The appointments of 28 Pilot Officers (on probation) are confirmed.
