VICTORIA v. NEW ZEALAND. CONTEST AT SHIRLEY LINKS. CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. The contest for the Kirk-Windeyer Cup, began at Shirley in fine weather. The teams are:— • New Zealand.—Horton, Macfarlane, Dr. Ross, and Black. Victoria.—Russell, Ryan, Hancock, and Bulte. Russel and Hancock were four up on Ross and Black.
