. THE FRANKTON TOURNAMENT. FINALS TO BE PLAYED. The annual croquet tournament of the Frankton Ladies’ Croquet Club is drawing to a close. The tournament has been in progress over a week, and some close, interesting games have been played. Mrs Hawken 26, beat Mrs Goldsbury 24, in the final of the handicap singles, thus winning the competition. Mesdames Bartlett and Meikle 26, beat Mesdames Wigzell and O’Brien 9, and Mesdames Golclsbury and Brockiesby 26, beat Mesdames Bartlett ancl Meikle 20, leaving Mesdames Goldsbury and Brockiesby the winners of their section in the championship doubles. Mesdames Belgrave and Dillicar were the winners of Hie other section, and these pairs play off for the champion doubles title. Mrs Dillicar 26, defeated Mrs Salter 10, and Miss Jones 11, leaving her winner of one section in the championship singles. Mrs Kibblewhite was the winner of tiie oilier section and the successful player in the final between these two competitors will gain the champion singles title. Mesdames Belgrave and Dillicar won the handicap dounies, with .Mesdames Hawken ancl Hodgkinson runners up.
