MOTUMAOHO.
Danoe. A committee of young .men organised a dance on Boxing night. An enjoyable time was spent, and the receipts were satisfactory. The Joy Boys’ orchestra supplied the music-
Holidays and Weather. The Christmas and New Year holiday's have come and gone and a number of folk took the opportunity of visiting friends and relatives in Motumaoho. Those owning cars put them lo good use. Waihi Beach, Okauia Springs, Cambridge and Hamilton made capital outings. A'number of farmers were only able to spare Christmas and New Year’s day from their ensilage making, but this was brought to an abrupt conclusion on Saturday by U,c torrential and continuous rain. The aftermath in the paddocks which were cut early is abnormal, and with plenty of present feed and a good supply of stored material the cows should continue to milk satisfactorily and be in lit condition for next season.
