ORINI
Concert. A concert given by the scholars of the Orini School was held on Friday evening. The hall was packed and the large audience thoroughly enjoyed the various items. Much credit for the thorough training of the pupils is due to the headmaster (Mr Smith) and his assistant (Miss Cochrane),
Mr William Thompson (chairman of the School Committee) presided, and at the conclusion of the concert expressed the appreciation of the audience of the children’s efforts, and thanked the teachers and scholars for providing an enjoyable entertainment.
