Children’s Choir. A children’s choir in connection with the Presbyterian Church has been organised by Mr Martin. The llrst practice was a great success. As there are some fine voices among the children of .this district some really good singing can be- looked l'or. Miss M. Thompson assisted the choirmaster to teach the children. Good Rainfall. On Tuesday and Wednesday we had some very welcome rain, and already the hills round the township are looking greener. Personal. Miss Walker, of Te Aroha, is visiting Mrs Gatchell.
