PUT CLOCKS AHEAD.

SUMMER TIME TO-MORROW. Before retiring to bed this evening clocks and watches will have to be advanced half-an-hour if their owners do not wish to be, .literally, "behind the times.” During the last month the,, days have been lengthening considerably, and the extra period of daylight over the summer will be hailed enthusiastically by all lovers of the out-of-doors. The opposition to the proposal has diminished to such an extent that the measure has now become a permanent one. Officially, all clocks will be advanced 30 minutes at 2 a.m. to-morrow, and will be put back 30 minutes at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 16, 1930.
