OUTBREAK AT OHRISTCHURCH. (Ey Telegraph.—Press Association,) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. An incendiary fire occurred to-night at the premises of Star Stores, Ltd., a grocery shop in High Street. A door leading from a yard at the rear into the storeroom was broken open. Three sets of jemmy marks showed how entry was effected. It was an obvious case of incendiarism. Fairly extensive damage was done to the shop property and stock, but little damage to the building.

In connection with the fire at the Star Stores in High Street last evening it, was discovered this morning that the shop next door, occupied by Jones Bros., cycle dealers, had been broken into and a good deal of wilful damage done, though nothing was stolen. The damage by fire to the Star Stores is estimated at £SOO.
