PIGEON SHOOTING.
HAMILTON GUN CLUB. Hamilton Gun Club held a clay pigeon shoot at Huakura on Saturday. No. 1 Shoot (12 shooters, 6 birds). —Won by J. Findlay with the possible. No. 2 Shoot (11 shooters, 7 birds). —W. R. Smith' won with the possible. Dr. Pinfold, C. Seddon, and T. Glenn shot six each and divided second money. No. 3 Shoot (12 birds, for trophy presented by Mr €. Seddon). —T. Glenn, A. Aitken, and W. B. Smith tied with the possible. In Hie shooloff, Aitken won on the 25th bird, Smith second, Glenn third. No. 4 Sweep.—Gimcrack, 9 birds.— W. Aitken and S. Parlour tied for second place with 7 birds each, C. Seddon shooting 8 birds. No. 5 (Skeet shoot 9 birds). —C. Seddon, W. R. Smith, and S. Parlour tied with 8 birds each and divided. No. 6 (Skeet shoot, 6 birds.) —W. Aitken and W. R. Smith tied with 5 birds each and divided. Dr. Pinfold presented the trophy to Mr Silken, who shot remarkably well.’
