THE KOBENHAVEN

REPORT OF WRECK. DISCREDITED BY OWNERS. (By Telegrapb.—Press Assn. —Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) (Received June 25, 9.50 a.m.) COPENHAGEN, June 24. The East Asiatic Company, the owners of the Kobenhaven, consider the observations of the captain of the steamer Helisius, who reported having seen the wreck of the Kobenhaven off Trislandacunha are unreliable.

The Kobenhaven is a Danish training ship which has been missing for several weeks. Its crew includes members of many prominent Danish families. Arrangements have been made for a special search, it being thought that Hie vessel is disabled in southern latitudes.
