SPEEDING EXPECTED.

ON CAMBRIDGE HIGHWAY. COUNTY INSPECTOR SUGGESTED When the tar-sealing of- the Hamil-ton-Cambridge main highway is completed speeding on this stretch will constitute a grave danger, in the opinion of Mr A. A. Woodw-ard, engineer to the Waikato County Council. In his report, which was adopted at yesterday’s meeting of the council, the engineer drew attention to the necessity of appointing an inspector io control traffic in the county. At present there is no check on speeding on the country roads. When the improvements to the surface of the Cambridge road are completed this 1 particular road will become a danger to travellers unless steps are taken to prevent speeding.
