PLUNKET SOCIETY ROBBED. ■ AUCKLAND, Wednesday. Smashing a glass panel in the main door of the Plunket Society headquarters in Syrnonds Street early yesterday morning, a thief gainer! entrance to the building. He shook a donation box for coins, and in (his way extracted an estimated total of about £3. Skeleton keys are .believed to have been used by intruders who entered the boot, shop of Mr \V. Larsen, early yesterday morning. Five pairs of boots, valued 'at-about £6 were stolen.
