AN INCREASED YARDING. GOOD PRICES OBTAINED. (By Telegraph—Special to Times.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. Messrs A. Buckland and Sons report that at Westfield fat stock market they penned 375 head, comprising 24S steers and 127 cows and heifers, compared with 33S last week. Extra choice ox sold lo 46s per 100 lb; choice and prime, 42s to 455; ordinary and plain, 37s to 40s; prime young cow and heifer beef, 37s to 40s; ordinary cow, 30s to 365. Extra heavy prime steers ranged in price from £l9 17s 6d to £2l 2s 6d; heavy’, £lB to £l9 15s; lighter, £l6 to £l7 17s 6d; light, £l3 5s to £ls 17s 6d; unfinished and small, £lO 10s to £l3 2s Gd; extra heavy prime young cows ancl heifers, £l4 10s to £l6 10s; heavy, :£l2 to £l4 7s fid; lighter, £9 10s to £ll 17s 6d; other cows, £6 to £9 7s 6d.
