CONCENTRATE FOR BEAUTY
NOVEL HINTS. The following maxims for women who wish to be beautiful are contained in a new 7 book, “Any Girl Can Re GoodLooking,” by Hazel Ranson Cades. “Take a good look at all your resources, physical and temperamental — your shape, size, colouring, disposition, tastes, hobbies, occupation, and background. “Concentrate! “Dress to suit you. “A colour is good if it is good to you. “If you have fine, soft hair of the fluffy type it should not be plastered down close. "Red hair should be glorified. “It is a question whether collars or cold cream have more to do with the success of necks. Collar-bones should be covered, and fat is not fetching. “If you do not feel well-groomed you cannot possibly look it. First of all, you need time. Time for your bath. Time for your powdering. Time for your nails. Time for your hair.
“The best exercises arc play exercises. You have in games a joyous expression of energy. “Eat regularly, and not between meals. Eat plenty of green vegetables and fruits. Go lightly on tea and coffee. “Look interested."
