AUTOMOBILE AFFAIRS.

THE HAMILTON BRANCH, PROPOSAL FOR AGENCY. The question of forming the Hamilton branch of the Auckland Automobile Association into an agency has been under consideration for some months past by members of the executive of the local branch. The conversion means that all executive and spending powers will be transferred to the Auckland Automobile Council, who would appoint a local agent with a local advisory committee. As members of the branch wish to discuss the question fully among themselves, the executive has convened a special general meeting to be held in Lowry’s Tea Rooms to-night. The president and secretary of the Auckland Automobile Council will be present lo give full details of the agency scheme, so that the case maybe, stated fully and frankly for and against the proposal.
