ATTACKED BY BULL.
FARMERS’ NARROW ESCAPE. A few days ago a Tolcoroa dairy farmer, Mr 1 Bert Ingle, had a very narrow escape from possible serious injury. When crossing the stockyard he was, without warning, attacked by a young bull. The first blow' from the beast’s head was such as to throw him almost across the yard. The bull, following up the first attack, attempted further injury to Mi’ Ingle, while he was lying face clown in the yard. Fortunately, however, the horns were so wide set that, beyond bruising with the head, no injury was caused. The beast then drew off with the intention of making a second charge Mr Ingle was just able to make the most of this opportunty by scrambling through a side gate. He sustained severe bruises and shock.
