ALLEGED VAGRANCY.

REMAND IN CUSTODY. FURTHER INQUIRIES NECESSARY. Apprehended by Constable Ireland on a charge of being idle and disorderly, without sufficient lawful means of support, Claude Hector McDonald made his appearance before Mr W'yvern Wilson, S.M. On the application of the police he was remanded in custody until Friday, pending further inquiries. He pleaded guilty to the charge of vagrancy, and sentence was deferred until October 7.
