Two eminent New Zealanders and an Australians who not long ago visited the scenes of Anzac bravery in Palestine were a little embarrassed by the attentions of their Arab hosts. After a meal they were presented .with Bedouin robes and daggers of finest workmanship. Then, as they departed, they found in the courtyard three white Arab horses, beautifully caparisoned. Sir James Parr, who represents New Zealand in London, was invited to take his choice. 'What was he to do? How could he get the beautiful creature home?
