SPECTACULAR BLAZE.

FIRE AT TE AROHA. FARMERS' TRADING CO. SUFFERS. DAMAGE ESTIMATED AT £IOOO. (By Telegraph.—Special to Times.) TE AROHA, Wednesday. Damage estimated at £IOOO was done to the premises of the Farmers' Trading Co., at Tc Aroha this morning by an outbreak of lire which occurred at 2.30 a.m. The blaze was a spectacular one and the lire brigade did very efficient service in suppressing the flames. The fire appeared to have originated on the outside of the building, the whole of the rear of which was completely gutted, all office effects being destroyed. The stock was extensively damaged by fire and water, while in Lovcridge's boot shop, which adjoined the premises, the stock suffered damage from water. The Farmers' Trading Co.'s premises were in an old building owned by Mr R. L. Somers. The property was insured, but the full amounts are not available.
