AUSTRALIAN COLLIERIES.

* POSITION LITTLE CHANGED. RESUMPTION AT GUNNEDAH. DISTRESSED MINERS. Received June 9, 9.30 a.m. SYDNEY, June 9. There is little change in the coal strike position. A settlement on the men's terms has been reached in the Gunncdah mine, which will resume Immediately. Some idea of the distress among the miners is shown by the fact that 02 families were provided with relief by the Kurrikurri committee on Monday afternoon. An important conference between Mr Haddelcy, Minister of Mines, and Mr Justice nibble, chairman or the coal tribunal, has been arranged for to-day.
