INCREASE IN POPULATION. DUNEDIN G 7.541. WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Hon. 11. V. Bollard slates that the census results so far give a total of J,'227,00", an increase of 120,500 for the area:-, completed. The figures show thai the population is still moving northward. Out of the increase mentioned the North Island claims 87,800 ami the South island 38,7(30. All provinces show gains.
