CHINESE GAMBLERS
FINES AT WELLINGTON. (Dy Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. Low Kum, a Chinese, who was imprisoned for a similar offenee in 11>23, pleaded guilty in the Magistrate's Court to keeping a common gamins house, and was lined £.'lo or two months' imprisonment. The place was used for palcapoo. Another Chinese was fined £:>, or seven days' imprisonment, for being on the premises.
