CONFISCATION OF TICKETS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, Tuesday. It was made known at a meeting of Ihe Chamber of Commerce this evening that the bulls of tickets for overseas art unions, with the purchase money, are liable to confiscation by the Post Office, which sends the communications to the Dead Letter Office, but refunds the money where possible. The only way by which butts can reach the promoters is by sending them lo a private address abroad. it was pointed out that it is illegal to sell or buy such tickets, and seller and purchaser are liable to proseculion.
