CARRIED A REVOLVER.
NEWMARKET BANK BANDIT.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Thursday.
"Revolvers are a curse and it is a serious matter to carry them about," said Mr J. W. Poynton, S.M., at the Police Court tin's morning, when George Joseph Marshall, who was recently sentenced to five years' imprisonment for attempting to rob the Newmarket branch of the Auckland Savings Dank, appeared on a charge of carrying a- revolver without a license.
"In order to mark the seriousness of the thing, I will sentence Marshall to three months' imprisonment. He is already serving a long sentence, so the three months will be concurrent."
