By Telegraph—Press Association, WELLINGTON, Monday.

At the annual meeting of the executive of the National Rifle Association Mr Marshall was re-elected chairman, and Colonel Hughes vice-chairman. The date of the annual rifle meeting was fixed from Tuesday, March 18, to Saturday, March 20, immediately after the army meeting. Arrangements have been made with G.H.Q. that competitors attending the army meeting may have their passes extended to cover both fixtures. It was decided to work as closely as possible with the army association, using the same targets at HOO, 500 and 000 yards. Service teams matches have been deleted from the programme, and an alteration made in the individual service matches, four of the army competitions being adopted with Ihe necessary alterations required by Hie difference of tho rifle used. After considerable discussion it was decided not lo go beyond 900 yards in the bull series this year owing to the uneven qualily of the ammunition at present available. Otherwise the conditions for the King's Prize are unchanged. In order to encourage medium shots three grades—A, B and Tyro—have been adopted. The present membership of the association is f).'l7. Various rifle clubs are lo bo asked to enrol more members, if this is done energcticaly it would enable tho executive Lo improve Ihe programme. The Kiwi Club, Duncdin, presented a gold modal for Ihe highest tyro aggregate.
