FIRE AT PLIMMERTON.
BOARDINGHOUSF. DESTROYED. By Telegraph—Press Association. WELLINGTON, Tuesday. The Iwo-storry boarding house "Erenora," at Plimmerlon, was totally destroyed by fire. J low Ihe outbreak originated is a mystery. At six o'clock Mr .Barlow, the owner and occupier, was making preparations for breakfast, when he heard a crash upstairs like something falling. On making investigations ho was dismayed to find Ihe lire had taken a linn hold. All the boarders were at once aroused, ami, gathering a few belongings together, made their way lo safely in their night attire Very Utile furniture was saved before the house became a roaring furnace. The insurances are not available. The destruction of the boarding house will seriously inconvenience summer visitors to Plimmcrton, as "Erenora" was fully booked up '.or the coming summer months*,
