FAMILY MAN’S TROUBLES.

— JUDGMENT ORDER REFUSED.

A man who stated that he had eleven children to support appeared at the Magistrate’s Court, Hamilton, this morning in defence of a judgment summons, by which a country baker sought to obtain a judgment order for £9 against him for bread supplied. Defendant stated that he had been share-milking during the time the debt was contracted, and that the children, whose ages ranged from 23 years down to nine months, had been living on the farm with him.
