STREET COLLECTION SUGGESTED. " Well-wisher " writes as follows: —Re subscription for the band instruments: That the people of Hamilton greatly appreciate the very generous offer of Mr " X " in accepting all responsibility as guarantor for the new set of Instruments is manifest by the liberal donations to the. lengthy subscription list you have published. I feel sure there are many people who have not been called upon and who would be only too pleased to aoniribute something towards their cwn Town Band. Some may feel their subscription too small to bother about; but to afford these subscribers their opportunity may I suggest that a street collection be made on Friday evening when the band is playing.
