AUTUMN FLOWER SHOW.

HAMILTON CLUB'S EXHIBITION. A BEAUTIFUL DISPLAY. The Hamilton Horticultural Society's Autumn Flower Show is being held today in the Town Hall. Despite the fact that the Wintry weather at the beginning of the week caused a great deal of damage in many gardens, especially to dahlias, the entries, both as regards quantity and quality, are up to the highest expectations. The main feature of the show is the splendid display of chrysanthemums, the majority of which were grown at Matamata and Cambridge. The dahlias are, perhaps, a little disappointing, the frosts experienced ruining the prospects of many fine blooms. The decorative section of the show is particularly good, the presence of autumn tints lending a very pleasing appearance to the various displays. Mesdames R. Dawson and O'Sullivan, of Te Awamutu, judged the decorative section, while Mr N. F. Currie, of Hamilton, adjudicated upon the cut flowers and vegetables. The show will continue until 10 o'clock to-night, and during the evening a number of dancing and concert items will be given. Following are the Cut Flowers.
