STATES TO REFUND FINES

The Suprerhe Court has declared unconditional certain provisions of the Lower Court by which profiteering ! s punishable. The Federal Government will he compelled to fnake restitution of 100,000 dollars, being fines collected fi’om merchants who were convicted of charging high prices for various commodities, principally food and clothing.
