A DESTRUCTIVE FIRE
21,000 CASES BENZINE BURNED. Bv Telegraph.—Press Association. NAPIER, Monday. A disastrous fire, involving the loss of 21,000 cases of benzine, the property of the Hawke's . Hay Trading Company, and £6OOO worth of wool and wool scouring apparatus, occurred at McDonalds woo] warehouse, yesterday. The insurances, it is understood, amount to aboul £30,000. The British revenue authorities havo remitted the stamp duties on ITic Nauru agreement, amounting to several thousand pounds.
