THE NAKANA AFFRAY
67 SIKHS KILLED. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received February 24, 5.5 p.m. DELHI, February 23. An official communique from Lahore states that no less than .07 Sikhs were killed in the Nakana affray. The troops have been withdrawn, but n large police force remains. The Government will not retaliate, rul will help in detecting and punishing the raiders. The Government realises I .at a savage crime has been committed, and is determined to do all it can in bringing the criminals to justice. The shrine has been given into the care of a prominent Sikh gentleman.
