SERIOUS RIOTING. OVER A TRIVIAL INCIDENT. RIOTERS ATTACK GHURKAS. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received February 7, 5.5 p.m. DELHI, February 6. A serious riot occurred in the Naihiti mill district over a trivial incident, the upsetting of a tray of sweetmeats. The jute workers attacked a guard of Ghurkas with knives. Two Ghurkas are dead and many injured.
