PROHIBITION IN JAPAN. MOVEMENT FOR ABOLITION. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn.) Received February 7, 9.35 p.m. TOKIO, February 7. A Bill has been introduced into the Diet aiming t° nullify the lew prohibiting women from joining political asso ciations or attending political meetings. The measure has the support of members of all parties. The extension of women's rights in the United States is believed to have considerably accelerated the Japanese suffrage movement.
