WASHINGTON, February 5It is understood that the German Foreign Office has intimated 1o the United States Commissioner, Mr Dresel, at Berlin, that errors in the Versailles treaty make it advantageous to both the United States and Germany to conclude a separate peace and . working arrangements. The German Government is also understood to have expressed the hope that the Harding administration will bring about such a situation in America's relations with Europe as will make possible the negotiation by Germany and the Allied Powers of a new economic adjustment.
