SUPREME COURT

GRAVE CASES AT AUCKLAND. By Telegraph.—Press Association. AUCKLAND, Monday. At the Supreme Court criminal sessions Mr Justice Stringer said the calendar was fairly extensive. It involved two grave cases, a son being charged with murdering his mother and a father charged with murdering his son. In the first case, he said. it. would be best for the Grand Jury to return a true bill and allow the facts to come out in court. The case of Necdhnm, who killed his son at Maungaturuto, was even more distressing. The Jury would have no difficulty in finding a true bill. In addition to the indictment of murder there might also be .in alternative one for manslaughter, tut His Honor suggested that a true bill on the graver charge should b? brought in.
