BRITAIN’S ATLANTIC FLEET
LONG CRUISE CONTEMPLATED. GREAT DISPLAY OF NAVAL POWER. (Reuter’s Telegrams.) Received January 2, 7.45 p.m. LONDON, Jan. 1. The Atlantic fleet is going on a long cruise through the Mediterranean, and will carry out Joint manoeuvres with the newly-constituted Mediterranean fleet under Admiral Roebeck. The manoeuvres will provide a display of naval power not seen by the present generation.
